Llar objett comang from the southeast but nearer to the horizon.
It too traveled in a straight line. It passed from horizon to norizon
in adout 15 or 20 seconds. [It flashed about S times before it di

a falling star ~- perhaps onerhalf as fust. There was no sound. There
ware airplanes in tne area. Lither the second or third time I cazled
my wite and she witnessed the third passing. It was still farther
foward the sastern horiz on and its appewrance was similar to the first
two Sightings. I then went to a neignbor next door and he and I obd-
served the next passing. Again it came fron the south east out this
time it passed overhead to the northwest. Directly overnead it nad
the appearance of a firetly except that it traveled ina straight line.
: Our neighbor observed the phenomenon once again while I was talking
with guests wno arrived. I remained outside with the neignoor a while
lonzer but nothing more was seen. We did see some falling stars and
a number oF airpaanes at the same time tnis object (s) appeared. Tnere
was an interval of about 5 minutes detween each passing.
I expected to see sometning in tne newspaper about it the next
day, towerer notaing was mentioned. I have observed the S«y several
times since tnen but I have seen nothing unusual. I thought I weould
forzet about it but tonisht I noticed that a Lt. Col. Friend was
investigating another area report and so I tnougnt I would send in
my observation.
