2. The following UFO sighting was reported to the SSD Command Post,
Inglewood, California at 1000 PDT, 27 July 1963.
a. Description: Bright silver ball, slightly oblong with a
Saturn-like silver ring around it, no sound.

easterly direction.

Time and Date: 1515-1530 PDT, 26 July 1963. Observetion
persisted about one minute.
Location of Observer: ‘Quam, Hollywood, Calif.

Weather Condition: Clear and five-eight miles visibility with
haze and smoke. Winds aloft from surface
to 20,000 feet were generally from the
southwest (2109-2409) at 10-18 knots.
