1. In accordance with AFR 200=2, subj: UFO, dtd 14 Sep 59 and AFR 200-24, subj:
UFO, dtd 2 Feb 60, the following information is submitted.

2. On 12 July 1962, irs Qe Avene, North Hollywood,

California, reported to the Federal Aviation Agency that she had seen two uni-

dentified flying objects. The information in this renort was determined from
her statements.

ae Description of Objects:

(i) She deseribed the Oojects as being in the shape of a hugh yoevo.

(2 tue objects were of sufficient size to carry 40 to 50 passenvers,

the object was peortinlly obscured by trees and houses,

(4) It vas not reported in what direction or mamner the obje#ts dison
peered,
(5) The totel time of visibility of each ohiect was not renorted,

$3 Observations were made on 13 July 1962 at 0429 and 0445 Zulu.
2) The observations were made at nicht.

ea. Location of Observer:

(1) 34=10N 118-15W, approximately four miles southwest of Lockheed
Air Terminal.

f. Identifying Information on Observers:

(1) irs) GER North Hollywood, Celi-
fornia; Housewife.

(2) The observations were confirmed by her husband, age 48 and her |

daughter, age 19.
(3) ee... reported by the FAA examiner to be a rational,
intelligent obs#fVver.

s. Weather and Winds:

(1) Clear with 15 miles visibility, winds on surface were southeast
at 5 knots.

Ne Conclusions:

(1) ‘ie were unable to contact  someneseny nor the FAA exam- |

iner wio formerded the rerort. Tne Locitheed Air Termirnel re~mrted no umisual
Sichtings at tne time of the observation. There were no nhotorraphs or other

naysienl evidence vrresented. Therefore, we ar2 unable to male any conclusions
as to the cause or true nature of the objects.
