BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING:
1. Early daylight observation of greenish-yellow object moving from West to East
in flat trajectory in flat trajecto: with slight "y" with slight "y" in path. No sound heard by cbserver. Estimated in path. No sound heard by cbserver. Estimated
distance at 3-5 miles and altitude of distance at 3- niles and altitude of object at 2,Occ ft. Firet deserited as object at 2,Occ ft. Firet deserited as
a luminous green ball. Disintegrated at end of flight. In sight 2-3 seconds.
2. Greenish object observed in straight flight for L seconds. Cbserved at 60 deg
elevation disintegrating at LC deg elev. Flight to ENE. Cbject had short tail.
Observation from car on way to work at C7ak Local.
EVALUATION: CASE CATEGORY: Astro (Meteor)
CONCLUSION: Two reports of object with characteristics of bolide. Color, tail,
flight path, disintegraticn and duration conform to observaticn of Neteor.
Guadraatids meteor shower occurs from l-l Jan with max at 3 Jan. This is a
strong morning shower.
