Size of basketball. Resembled a strong spot- ;|this time. Description and duration are
light. Then it exploded and a large part of characteristic of a meteor. Brightness

(1) ‘The intense light which apveared to be approaching rapidly. My first '
thougnt was that I was about to collide with somethinzg and I initiated evasive
maneuverse
(2) Object appeared level with me.
(3) Object was in my nine o'clock, and my magnetic heading was 2¢0°, My
altitude was 355,000 feet, my ground speed 530.

colorful explosion (which silhouetted the cloud tops), and returned to darkness!
