When Atkisson attemmted to deternine the exact date the object was sighted, Mrs.
stated that it ras the same day that a new satellite was launched. She
edvised that she was referring to the first major satellite launching following
Echo l. She recalled an article apdearing in a Tulsa, Cklahora newspaper and
believed the Satellite was called Cochie. Mrs. stated that she had
called a newspaper, weather bureau, and a Government office the day after the
sight but interested.
Mrs. is a heavy set woman about fifty years old. Her husband is a
barber in Tulsa. Both she and her husband wear glasses for close work but she

The foregoing information was received iy the Provost Marshal Office on 13
Oetober 1960, contained in a letter from the Commander, Ilth District Office
of Special Investigations.
