was then told to time them whieh I was alrendy doing. The other man looked uo as I
seid that two objeets were comlns in the d posite direction and he too watched them
until he had to look away attend to his cameras.
During the minute and 4Sk seconds that I watchsd the objects I
followed
eyes and could see the objects quite plainly. I watched them travel from right
overhead to about 45 degrees above the West- Souchwestern n horison. They were
wiite but had a yellowish cast to white but had a yellowish then and moved at about at about the spoed of a satellite the spoed of a satellite
or a jet plane(of the t var Occassionally I cassionally I would look at the second would look at the second
object and then back to the first The teamleader and his son did not watch the

2. The ATIC analysis of report of an unidentified flying
object, which he reported seeing on 13 August 1960, reveals that the
objects were probably aircraft. These objects were reported to have
angular velocities couparable to that of satellites and appoared as
two 2nd magnitude lights. The direction of motion was generally to
the southwest. s quite probable that these objects wen two high
flying jet aircraft .was probably excited because he was
waiting to view scho, anci had some knowledge of objects reportedly
seen in conjunction with the llite which had retrograde orbits.
3. It is possible to seo the lights of high flying aircraft and not
be able to resolve the outline, even with binoculars, on a cark night.
The lights seen by Mo would be the relatively bright running
light on the bottam of the aircraft.

cerning the uniden flying obj viewed on 16 August
1960.
The Aerospace Technical Intelligence Center's analysis of
your report objects were probably aircraft.
These objects were reported to have angular velocities comparable
to that of satellites and appeared as two 2nd magnitude lights.
The direction of motion was generally the southwest. It is
It is poseible to see the lights of high flying aircraft and and
not be able to resolve the outline, even with binoculars, on a dark
night. The lights seen by you would be the relatively right running
light on the bot com of the aircraft.
