Its seneral appearance, was thea same as a star, no outline was visibile at such a
distence only its light was visible to the neked eye. Its light however was mich
brichter than ony star in its vicinity; and seemed to glow with a steady intensiby
rather than to twinkle as most stars appear to do. When it moved it seemed to be
almost teardrop in shape ; which at first lead us to beliove that it might be
another "Rocket Shoot", from Cape Canavarel, Floridaj such as we have observed
before ( however on these previous occasion's when the launchings were announced,
they always appeared to ba much further to tha North , lowar, with a decided exhaust
or tail and they glowed cranze and yellow. ) My daughter whom I had sumnoned also
assumed it to be a rocket test at first, however upcn calling local Mewspapers and
TeVe Stations, and not receiving =ny information she called the Lecal Civil Defense
office to inquire( Civil Defense by the way did not answer) and then decided we had
better call the local airforce Base, to inform them and inquire at the same tine.

At 11;00 P.M. still under the impression that it might be a rocket in orbit wa
calle? our next door naishbors,

to observe with us. ( See attached Statement from them please. )

After approximately an hour and a hal? of observation it appearad to bacome fixed

could have heard anv sound even if there had baen any.

Neither my daughter nor myself are very well acquainted with snece lora, nor the

are rather difficult to express in cdequate technical terms.

tensity of any star in its vicinity; when it suddenly began to move I noticed
a decided increase in its intensity and the color of the light «hich had previous-

Analysis and Conclusions: The location of the witnesses was apparently at

Keystone Point, therefore the object must have been ESE of their location.
The planet Jupiter was ESE at the time of the observation, and it was close
to the earth at tne tine. Inera were no stars brignter than 3rd masnitude

in that part of tne sky, therefore tne planet would necessarily appear to

be very bright, and much closer than it actualy was. The movment reported was
probably due to atmospheric conditions.

this is to certify that the following statement is a true account of my personal

MY neichbor called me over to her front yard to observe an unusual object , located
in the south eastern portion of the SKY.

After watching said object for several minuets; my observation was that it suddenly
veered to the south; as it veered to the south it appeared leave a streak ( a thin
Streak of light ) behind it. It seemed to halt and hold its position for about-
thirty seconds, then veer to the North approximately half of the distance from its |
original position. The movement to the south was in ny estimation , and from my point |
of view was approximately twelve inches (12 inches). Then it seemed to return to its |
original position ; and immediately thereffter it seemed to bobble up

As I remeber , it was an intense yellow in color; and my impression was that at times
the yellow color took on a definite reddish -orange tinge, it seened that the coler changs

I am firmly convineed that it could not have been a plane.
