1735 + eecelcel a UFO report from Col. Vitunac, 4A in typed form

regarding a “lost Ruasian missile” that fell near the
residence of the observer, a Miro. RRM, ©. Lf. New
York. Transmitted from Col. Moore, CSZ, Pentagon. (She
threatens to take this to Sen. Wagner. Called Maj. ¥riend
to alert him).

FLASH INDICATIONS message directly from SAC COMMAND Post at
Offutt Ar’, with SAC D. 0., Col. Barnwright (?) monLtoring,
reporting a USD observed by a number of persans from Duluch,
Mianeseca to Cheyenne, Wyoming, Llucluding milltary personnel
ead pilots. Tha Command Posc3 of both HQ USAP and L5Sth Air
Force at March Fleld, California were all on a threa way tle-
Lina to ATIC on this call. WNarech Fleld had collected all

the reperts on a rather extensive tape, which HQ USA? Command
Post directed that it be played back to the undersigned Spd.
Tha attempt was nok very successful, as it was garbled and
full of static. A brief transcript is attached. Request was
mada to the iSth Air Force Cowmnand Post thar a written report
be submitted to ATIC in compliance with AYR 200-2, "UTO
Reporting”, Maj. Friend contacted and informed of tha incident.
Zt waa xecommended that this SDO contact Col. Meador, 1127th
FAG and inform him of the incident for whatever acttion his
investigative units in tha areas if the sightings deemed
necessary. Command Post at 1125th FAG contacted and informed
Of incident as recormended by Maj. Friend, USAF UFO Officer.
