10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING
1. Long white streak in the sky visible for |
10 secs.
2. Two mins later another lasting four secs
appeared in the WSW moving to the Western
horizon. Objs appeared to burn out in the
atmosphere. Secondobj had greenigh tint.

Dear sirs:
On Sunday, October 25, 1959, and at 6:38 P.M. &.S.T., I
observed from a hill outside Mansfield, Pennsylvania, a long
wiite streak in the sky. It began in the S.5.W. and traveled
west to the horrizon, taking about ten seconds. Two minutes
later, at 6:40 P.M., a green slow appeared almost due south.
This had an erratic bouncing motion at first, then settled down
to a steady glow - still with a greenish tint, and also-travelins
west. This second flow was visible for about four seconds, and
seemed to burn out before it met the horrizon.
