Obj w/the brilliancy of a bright star observed Venus was in the position noted at

Using the magnetic comress on an airplane I determined the object
to be about 200 degreees magnetic from the airport. And, then using a
vernier protracter (which is normally used to ad.just propeller blades) found
the object to the horizon.

Then, with this information I telephoned Cincinnati Approach Control
and spoke to , one of the radar observers.

About an hour later, having the opportunity to look again, the object
was gone. I scanned the sky with and without binoculars through the aree

light airplane. Both my passenger and I saw the object between ourselves
