1. A Boeing Airplane Company employee, Mr brought the
inclosed color sli
to the largest magnification possible at this facility and in my opinion
the slide is a double exposure (possible on an Argus C-3) of a light bulb
and shade and Diamond Head, Hawaii, although the circumstances as described
by Mr. appears to refute this. The double exposure may have been made
at the time of development, or at some other time in the process of manufacture.
However, in accordance with AFR 20o-?, I am submitting the slide and
information relative to the picture and if additional information is required,
please contact Mr. or myself. As some of the information requested
by AFR 200-2 is unknown, the specified format could not be followed.

2. According to Mr. he was in the U.S. Navy in June of 1959 and was a
crew member of the U.S.S. Pine Island AV-12. He was on liberty on 18 June
returning
to the ship, he put undeveloped film away and did not have them
developed until he ischarged from Navy in Januar 1960. He noticed
until he was emp my office.
3. Mr. disclains any knowledge double e exposure and did not reload
his camera near a light source. He was on time he was taking

pictures and this s was one of many pictures he snapped I that afternoon. He
does not develop pictures himself and has been taking pictures about ten
Center (BOMARc) of Boeing Airplane Company.

1. The object t referred to as a UFo could most probably be
the result of one of two conditions; reflections from a
gless window through which the scene was photographed or,
the photograph is a double exposure. The fact that the
