Ford. The mother of observer first called attention the object.
(2) Object when first observed appeared to be in a
north northwest position at elevation 45 degrees from the
horizon.

dowmward, then changing to a course directly doimward toward the
earth and eventually curving and traveling slowly in a southern
direction.

The use of advertising searchl: ats the heavy aircraft traffic
in this srea lead the reporting officer to believe that the object
observed was probably either a searchlight playing on clouds or an
airoraft in the area at the time. The probability of the object
being an aircraft is further strengthened by the fact that many
Air Training Command aircraft located in the vicinity have bright
