1. A photograph taken of the Capitol by a Mr of Portugal,
during his visit to Washington, D. C. in February 1959, was forwarded to
the ATIC for analysis. In addition to the Capitol the phot otograph contains
an image of an unidentified object over the Capitol area.
2. The ATIC photograph interpretors determined that the inage of the
object is probably real. However, the original negative is needed to
complete a full analysis. s suggested that a letter be written to
Mr requesting the negatives.

photograph was made. However, it is obvious that the subject was located
on the mall, fairly close to half on the mall, fairly close to way between the capitol and the the
Washington monument.
