at his home at 1930 hrs 1 Oct 1958. During the interview he troduced 2
sketch he mzde of the object after arrivins home within 15 minutes of the
sighting. He stated thit he at first thougn:t it was a jet aircraft in
trouble and this promnted him to call “'estover AFD, Mass; !owever the
telephone operntor connected him with the newsoaper, which is how
I first became aware of the sishtin:. ia is 2. technical artist
by trade, hes flow light circrsft, wears thick bifocal glasses and ap-
peared to be a reasonably calm person. He and his wife recalled that
while travelling by car through New Mexico in 1949 they hod observed a
similar object but had not feported it for fear of ridicule through
publicity. The sketch and les, 4" x 5" & 35 iM Color trensparency are
