Upper Air winds during the day were from the southwest quadrant, opposite to
the movement this object. A check was made with a local astronomer concerning
the possibility that a satelite had been observed, but it was determined that
no known satelite as moving in the direction of this object, nor could the
shape of any known satelite have been noted with the relatively low power scope
on a theodolite So.
The estimated size of the object, the distance away and its estimated speed,
as showm on this questionnaire all based on an alt 30,000 feet3
as I am certain that is minimum altitude the object could have had, as indicated
by its passing above cirrus clouds. If the object was much higher than 30,coo feet,
as is quite possible, the size, speed, and distance as is quite possible, the size, speed, and distance away when first and last seen, when first and last seen,
would all be increased. I have seen high altitud would all be increased. I ha seen high altitud balloons through the theodolite
and they did not look at all like this object. Also the speed of the object would and they did not look at all li ke this object. d of the object would
rule out the possibility o: rule out the possibility being a balloon, sinoe the minimum speed was known
to be above 5o0 mph toward the southwest to be above 50o mph toward the southwest
