Dear Colonel Bugh:
This is to advise that on December 3,
1957, © Mr, ee Lake
George, New York, telephonically advised this office
that rahile returning from work 2:20 a.m. on December 3,
~. 1957, he observed a large brilliant bluish green object
with an orange tail in the sky approximately eight miles
north of Savntore, New York. Mr. said that this
object was falling in a north westerly direction from
Route 9, He said that this object was in his vision
for a second or two only. Hr. : eT nt that he is a
stereotype operator for the "Times Union,” an Albany,
New York, dally newspaper, and is employed on the late
shift. Hr, ae” volunteered the information that he
was not going to advise his paper as he felt that they
° might laugh at this observation,
This information was furnished telephonically
by this office to Mr. Raymond A, Marin, Special Agent,
drrice of Special Investigations, Naval Depot, Scotia,
