(1) Checked weather for balloon launching. WX balloon was _
launched at 2300Z_9 Nov _57 but should have been around
60 miles east of Amrillo at about 55 to 60 thousand ft.

68Sth AC&i Squadron, Edmund &. Kelley, Captain, USAF.

There has been a rash of such sightings in this area in the past
month and a lot of publicity about the so-called unidentified flying objects.

This publicity has made many people conscious of such things and we are
doubtful as to the truth of some of these sightings.
