At (i74o)on the lath of Oat. an unidentified object was sightod by A/2c
Pringle and A/2c Warsewich The above named airmen were on duty in the
coucrol tower at the time. The object was at an unknown altitude and dis-
tance from the station. When first sighted the objeot appeared to be
approximately © degrees)above_the horizon. When last observed it had
dropped to approximatelyC3 dogrees above the horizon When first sighted
the object was south west of Mildenhall R.A.F. Station. The object appeared
to be Gtabionary At l8o9 when the object was obscured from the twrs
vision it had moved to the west)approximatoly I5-l8 de At 1755 the
weather observer working in the tower was notified. Thw wx observer said weather observer working in the tower was notified. Thw wx observer said
he could not identify the object, but it definitly was not a star or other
celestial body. At lsO3 Lakenheath RAPcon was advised of the U.F.o. and
said they had no airoraft in the area. At l8o4 Waterbeach A.T.C. was
advised, they also said they had no aircraft in the area. The U.F.O. was
obscured from the twr's vision at l8o9 by clouds.
During the sightings of th ject it appeared to be(circulepand a
light yellow in color at first, then changing to definite(orange before
being obscured by clouds.
At (1928/Lakenheath RAPCON advised MI 1 twr. they gould see an object to
theSWof MI RAPCON said the Objectwas changing colors fron yellodto
Grange and was Stationary Lakenheath checked on ballons in the area plus
aircraft and reported neither in the area. MI WX received a_winds aloft
report fron kimsly and Crawly, both stations had the winds from the wes⑨ at
all altitudes. At (l93o)Lakenheath_advised M they Gad 3 targets) on their
radar Twa of the targets were (wrof MT)approx.(Il miles) Altitude unkmowm.
The two targets were also Gtatlonary. The Srd target was(N) moving slowy.

Appearance: Circular beige colored light. Changed shades, but stayed
same collor. Dismissed same as star.
Tawer notified GCA at l9sO of object tracked visually from west to
orthwest. Towar descrihed object as similar to one sighted at(l7l5) by
GCA Glanced out west door of shack and noted object first sighted was
gone. Tower advised Lakenheath Control had sighted object visually, then
on radar. Coordinated with Lakenheath and looked in position they indicated. on radar. Coordinated with Lakenheath and looked in position they indicated.
Two targets appeared on scope approximately ll-l3 miles WiM of Mildenhall.

of radio receivers at this time. Lakenheath had some disturbance. Saarch

2034 Unidentified obiects had faded from scope at this time. Pilot did
not report any unusual objects on low approach to R/ 29: Did request
him to check.
Sculthorze weather radar reported 2 objects at@l4l local, SW of M.
Positions were checked and 2_targets were at same position on our survoillance
scope approximately@ miles Sw) Tarcets faded on our search scope, but
Saulthorne tracked them until 2236) then reported
Ohieots approximately8-9 miS of ML at this time (moving W) Then the
meteor returned foranother low approach. Noted normal radar tarzet, bear-
ing approximately(@s50) from N, inbound. Presuned it was meteor, however
meteor reported over head. Target closed to 3 miles from MI, thon apneered
to ston and faded out. The meteor's position, was approximately(ls mi)
