One round brilliant white object with | Rpt rec'd fm Hq Air Proving Groun
slightly rigtten ed sides,.size of Command, Eglin AFB, 23 Aug 56 via
pea at arm's length. Object seemed to; AF Form 112,
twinkle or radiate like a star. Obdjec Concur with preparing officer that
appeared as a stationary light in the! sighting caused by a/c light. ‘|
| sky. Object moved very slowly in a etails of sighting correlate w/
horizontal, slightly downward path w activity of F-89 which carried
no change in direction, Obiect was stroboscope light. Light seen for
initially sighted at 40 dgr azimuth, only 6 Seconds because obscured by
& disappeared behind trees in the forg- trees, Slow movement explained by
ground at 70 dgr azimuth, Gbject was a/c flight away fm observer,
observed visually for §& seconds. Evaluation a/c.
