it would crash right in our front yard. When I got
the back of the houss, my wife was at the back door
yelled, 'Shall I turn on the outside Lights'.: By th

Mr. and Mrs. willingly gave me their account
of the sighting they had made in late July or August of l955. hey
had no knowledge that the undersigned investigator had in his pos-
session a case dossier from the UFoRc. In brief, they both re-
peated to this investigator almost word for word their previous
report to the UFoRc. However, in the course of discussion follow-
ing their story the investigator learned that the UForc had built
up this particular case in their report to ATIc. The pictures sub
mitted and as shown in the case dossler are not pictures of the
area of Mr. hone but of an area some distance away.
Also, some of the drawings of the UFo sighted are erroneous accord

to be a USAF Reserve card of some sort.
In view of the fact that Mr. and Mrs repeated almost the
exact story submitted in the UFo case dossier; that Mr.
appears familiar with known types of aircraft; and that he still
seemed frightened almost a year after his sighting, the undersigne
investigator was left with the imoression that Mr is sin
cere and truthful and that he did see something unusual and wnlnown
(3) Sighting: In the latter part of the day (28 June),
an attempt was made to contact Mr Who appears to be a sort
of "chairman" and self-designated chief UFo investigator of the
organization in question. Inasmuch as Mr Tor the most part
personally prepared the UFo cases and illustration in the dossier,
it was important that some background information on this indi-
vidual be obtained. It was detormined thaj did not, and had
not lived in the address given to ATIce address was ob-

subnission of some Ufo cases and reports from private citizens
and organizations is appreciated by the Air Force, ATlc and ot ther delegated AF unit
are the only "ofricial" UFo agencies. It was strongly reconmended that all sightin
should be made to ATIc or the nearest AF base imnediately, and that if the sighting
were found to possess merit, action to initiate an official USAF investigation
through the 46o2d AlSS and other pertinent units, who have trained investigators to
handle these cases, would be taken.
C. CONCLUSIONS:
9. Case: an impressionable young man with an over
-active imagination did cbserve some natural or explainable phenomena, but let his
imagination run riot to build up a story of a "flying saucer" landing and 'its cccu-
opants talking to him to such an extent that he now believes or alleges to believe
11 Case:
of his Signting "500 feet from the ground - a light beam appearing shining towards
the ground," the object is considered an"aircraft"preparatory to landing, and will
be placed in that category.
12 Case:
13. General: All the individuals associated with the UroRc appeared to be
people who, although good American citizens, have vivid imaginations and sincerely
beliete they are helping the Uro program by conducting their investigation and
analyses. It is further concluded that in all future reports fr om this organizatiol
