Ie SOURCE: Anne Chamberlin (Urs)
Address: 2740 Ludwig Street, Penbrook, Pennsylvania
Age: &2
Oceupatien : Heusewife
Qualificatiens: GOC Observer for past feur and ene half (43) years,
auxilliary pelice-woman during war.
II. RELIABILITY: On 13 July 1955 Mrs Anne Chamberlin, was telephonically inter-
viewed concerning her sightings ef UFOB's te determine her reliability. Mrs Chan
berlin advised that she was 42 years of age, that her sale eccupation was that of
housewifs, and that she pessessed ne technical educatien er experience along those
linss. She stated further that she is an ebserver fer the Greund Cbserver Corp,’
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and that she has ebservered similar sightings as theses she
reported ever a period of 4% years, since operation "Skywatch" began, She stated
that she had been alene when ebservations were made but that ether observers during
perieds ef duty had reperted similar observations, Mrs Chamberlin ceuld not spe-
cifically describe these and alternately referred to theses as tinsel, paper and/or
cardboard ef silber celer with yellew centers. During entire cenversation Mrs Chan-
berlin was unable te be specific concerning ebservatiens and described objects
' differently each time, It was difficult te maintain conversation on this topic alona
as SOURCE continued te emphasize her desire te be cooperative and of her patriotic
regard ef duty at present and ef her.efferts during the war aa an auxilliary polics-
woman, Based en abeve, it appeared that Mrs Chamberlin was over-gealous in her de-
sire te be of service, and because of these factors and lack ef technical back-
greund, reliability ef SOURCE is rated as peer,
S/Sgt Arthur F Bray, AF 19 387 463, Det 4, 4670th GOC, Harrisburg, Pa was tel-
ephenically interviewed and advised that he is USAF superviser ef Mrs Chamberlin and
described her as tending to be somewhat eccentric, Sgt Bray stated further that he
believed Mrs Chamberlin te be sincere, however she was ovsrly cooperative and often
exaggsrated. Sgt Bray stated that she has made such observations ever a leng peried
of time and that he has expended a great amount of time at Mrs Chamberlin's pest but
was never able te ebserve er verify such sightings. It was therefere Sgt Brays epin-
ion that reliability ef Mrs Chamberlin in these matters weuld be rated as peer,
