COMMENTS :
It is believed by the rpting officer that obj sighted was prob-
ably a balloon released by the USAF fr the Hawaiian Islands.
The balloon was most probably reflecting the suns rays even
though the surface of the sighting area is dark. Duration was
more consistant with meteor sighting. Too brief for confirmed
balloon observation. Insufficient data for evaluation.
