around the country as more,.cyewitness accounts of “saucers,”
“Diates” and other whizzing celestial objects keen pouring res

Then it went off toward ite “saucer,” which the.farmer could
not deseribe because a green ray was directed at him and
caused him te be temporarily paralyzed.

A former artillery observer said he saw & dark-gray object
hovering over the mountains near Chambery at about 6,000
feet. He claimed he. stopped his car and watched as other | 4
motorists joined in looking at the mass which suddenly “shot
away like lightning and disappeared.” . 4

Two other reports have been received in the Lyon area but nf
they were only of the old-fashioned- “saucer” which gave off
