Bronx, New York, was interviewed at tnis 36,
advised that he had served with the United States Navy
as an enlisted. mar. n orincipal duties vatch-duty and lookout, and
has been employe he past four (4) years as a Patrolman in the New
York City Folice Da Cein tanent. with station at the h6th Precinct, 2120
Ryer Avenue, Bronx, New York.
advised that at 2210 hours Zulu time (l7lo Eastern Standard
time), 2 Novembe

When first observed, advised that tie objocts arpeared to
be hoveri.ng but that the lower group was moving in an easterly direction
with the upper grcup in a westerly direction. These objects were at a
450 azimtn roximately 40o azimuth and were at the
general height of eight thousand (3,Ood) feet. These obrervations lasted
for approximately fifteen (l5) minutes and terminated upon btildings ob-
structing che viex. further advised that he had obseivei these
objects wiuhoue the assisterce of binoculars or telescope and cnat no
pictures we re taxcn aa he had no camer? ia his irmediate possession.

and that at one time thie type cloud had obscured the lower group of
objects,

to a twenty-five cent pieco (25), and that they were at 20 and 35
degree azimuth respectivcly.

4. On 17 DeceMbOr 1953, Mr. FRED BEAR and i.r. ALBERT ADELL, AirwayS
Forecastors, furnished the following information concorning weather condi-
tions on 2 ovembor 1953, between 1630 and 17 hours (astern Standard
Time):
Mind Diroction - Nost, South-lest at 12 mph
Coiling - Unlimited
Visibility - 1500 and 1600 foct - 9 miles
1700 and 1800 f0ct - 8 miles
Clouds High, scattored formations (cirrus type)

ho doos not rocall any mention boing made of any sightings.

Mr. WLLI.l: WLLIAS, Control Tower Suporvisor, were interviowed and
furnishod thc following in ormation concorning air traffic, over and in the
immcdiate vicinity of Idlowild Air Fort, luw York, on 2 Novombor 1953,
