Manitowoo from a neighbor.
As I live only a block walked over to the
lake where I could get riew. As the binoculars were of poor
quality I couldn't
naked eye returned hcme and waited until dark for another
observation but hen I walked back to the lake the object was no
longer visible. The next day thore was a solid overeast but on the
following day the sky cover was soattered with cumulus but otherwise
it was clear and bright. However the object was no longer visible .

I do not recall the day of the month this observation wns nade, but it
was the day before I reported your office by letter. My first
observation was made in the
I was calling on Farmers this day and had stopped and parked my car
for lunch. Having beem identified with flying since 1917 and a pilot
since l92? and being an amature astronomer and lioensed ground sohool
instruotor in meteprology I most generally spend s time each day observing
the sky from both an astromical and msteorlogical standpoint. While engaged
