CIVIL CHART SUPPLY
Authorized agents for the sale of aeronautical charts have been appointed at certain airports and principal cities through-
LS out the United States. The charts may also be obtained from the Director, U. S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, , Washington
25, D. C.
MILITARY CHART SUPPLY
(Ref: AF Reg. 67-3)
1. Aeronsutical I Charts, Maps and Publications distributed by the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center are
indexed or listed in the current edition of the"USAF Catalog of Aeronautical Charts and Aeronautieal Information Publice-
tions". A Bulletin is alsoI published twice monthly which contains important information such as new editions of charts
available, replacement charts, hazardous charts, chart correction notices and other pertinent information pertaining to charts
and supply.
2. Requisitioning.
a. Outside Continental United States: USAF activities are to submit requisitions to the appropriate Aeronau-
tical Chart and I Information Office located within the applieable theater, in accordance with existing theater directives.
b. Within Continental I United States: USAF activities are to submit requisitions to Commanding Officer
Aeronautical Chart and Information Center. 2nd and Arsenal Sts., St. Louis 18, Missouri. Attention: Distribution Divisiona
Requisitions will be submitted on available requisition forms or by letter in quadruplicate. When demand is urgent, wire
service may be used. Requisitions bmitted from a Base or Station will bear the signature, or approval by indorsement,
the Operations officer. Requisitions Force, Wing, or Command Headquarters will bear the signature of the appropri
ate staff officer. Quantities of charts and maps requested are to be such as to assure the maintenance of a thirty (30) day
supply at all timen, but not to esceed a sixty (6o) day supply.

CORRECTION INSTRUCTIONS
1. The Coast and Geodetic Survey is making every effort to f furnish the user with aceurate charts. The user 71l
materially aemist in this effort by marking corrections of aeronautical information, drainage, relief and cultural feature
(roada, canals, power lines, etc.) on the face of the chart. overiay of the area, or unde arks" balow. In re
porting elevation corrections, stats method used by ob in making the determination.

b. Fold chart along regular fold H lines, but with back out.
c. Make an extra fold along dotted line and staple at pointa so marked.
