On 1 August 1953 at 20:30 PM lceai time, I was just gettin into
ny vehicle when I saw che object in the sky. Tt waa on the West side of
Hiway 43 heading in a SW direction. I could not mske out any shape to

it and the only thing that I had noticed abcut it was the variation ia

the color of the lights. It appeared to be giowiag a reddish color in
the leading part of the object and a dull amber glow in the rear parte
Tt was traveling at a very high rate cf speed and the duration of the
sighting coulaé not havea lasted two seconds before it disappeared to tke
S¥. 1 could not approxiaate the altitude althovgh what I did see of

it nad fairly large in size. There was no sounds associated with
