Dear Capt. Harding ;

Ws have been so busy with the Black Hawk, S. Dakota case that
I've only just now gotten deyrn to looking over the large batch of accum=-
ulated reportae I must say that compared vith Black Hawk, none of these

by

approaches that incident in interest. There are a few interesting sight-

ings, but on none ci these is information sufficient to make a follow-up

proritable.

Of the interesting ones, the very similar sightings of 2 July and
1 August at Key We ? wold warrent follow-up if they were more recente
“ith present infory.tion 7 have no suggested explanation.

The 26 J: -cta AFB Texas also holds possible interest from the
standpoint of man- «© « nd the fact they were observed from the Control

Towee and by civi. .« »f Demmison, Texas.

It is too oi: there is not more information on Creola, Ala.
Cases cover four *+ +:ate days. There is possibly pay dirt in these.

— Finally, = it Slimane sighting is definitely puszling and wl

probably have to «© 1 on the books as unexclained.

As for the ~ecaining 30 or so, there is so little information con-
cerning those which cu» not have obvious explanations that there 1s no pere

centage whatever in -onsidering them seriously.

Thus, out >! "he total number there are , independent sets which,
if staff and time wee available, would be interesting to pursue,
I vote for sticking with the Black Hawk case until we have squeezed it dry.
I feel certain that if this case can be explained, others would follow suit.

Concerning the Black Hawk case, we are proceeding slowly but surely

with the investigation. Solid objects are certainly indis ated by
