when the noise aroused ‘wy two (2) 2-25 tyne aircraft Plying westwardly, caused

Upon looking up, QP saw an object apnear in the sky at a very
high altitude. The object on its initial appearance appeared to be circular
in sight, and was aprx one and five tenths (1.5) inches in diamater (a3
observed with his naked eye), The thickness of the object could not be deter-
mined, The ohject began losing altitude at a very fast rate of snead, but
continued to travel in a Northwest to Sonthsast direction, The heizht of the
object when it appeared at its lowest altituds could not be deterninad, but
appeared very much higher than the aircraft flying in the inwediate vicinity.
(Notes: It is estimated that the aircraft were flying at an altitude of
apex 2000, feet.) The maximum diameter of the onject as observed by the |
source was aprx eight (3) inches. It was also observed at this point that the :
ovject apvesrsd to be sninning horizontally. The object when observed at its
lowest altitudes anpeared to be elliptical in shape, and slightly conical on
the top and »ottom sides.

this altitude for anrx one (1) sscond, then it suddenly began clim>tmg ones
again at a very fast rate of speed and travelling in a Sonthvest direction )
disappeared over neighboring buildings in the hospital area. |
No vapor trails nor any kind of smoka were emitted by the object
during the course of observation, Although unable to judgs the sneed of

sitting on the 5th Street hospital ramp of the base hospital, 5750th Medical
Coup, when I beard a noise in the sky behind me. Looking upward I sew two (2)
R=25 type aircraft flying in a westward direction, After a faw seconds a
otrange flying object appeared in the sky and I followed it with ay eyes during
its course of travel. It avpearsd to be a cireular dise shen I first observed
it, apex one (1) inch in diazeter, The object appeared to increase in size
as 1% came closer to se fron a very high unknown altitude, The cirevlar shave
of the object seered to change to elliptical, the closer it became, The
object wae travelling in a southwest direction, at a very fast unknown rate
of apeed, such faster than I have ever seen on any aireraft in flight, after
having seen the object. for aurx five (5) seconis, I revorted it to the ase
Tntelligence Office,
The object when it first sepeared seemed to be flying at a meh bizher
altitede than the two (2) aircraft that were flying in the inuediate area, and
i+ appeared to be travelling towards me and at the sane tire across the aky.
The fast that the object was spinning horizontally and yet travelling with a
forvard uoticn convinced ze that it vas not an aircraft,
The object at its larcest point appeared to de sight (8) inches in
diameter as I chserved it with uy naked eye. The colcr of the object vas
ditfieult to define, it appeared silvery-shite, but emitting en unusual
glow, that made the object appear to be bright and dull at the same time, It
travelled froe the northwest to the southeast, tut forsing aa orbit to the
southwest. It also avpeared to have uede a verticle "!" before disappearing
over neighbcring buildings. As it cane closer the object seened to slow down
considerably, and then it suddenly gained altitude again, and disappeared
at a very fast rate of speed,”
