Statement of faots received from A/30 Wendell C. Srith, AP 514
This Airmn is assigned to Hq Sq See Air Base Group, Ellington AlB,
Houston, Texas where he mployed as an airorart dispatoher.
On the evening of the 19th of lay 3953, the airmen were at their
raspective cuties at Base Operations when a telephone call was received
from an unicentified person ofr base asking what type aireraft vas in
the vicinity of Houston and Elliagton AXB. The Airmen went out to
obeerve the object which mas bright yellowish orange although not as
hright as the stars. When first sighted, between 2230 and 2245, the
objeot was directly overhead. The object rerainod visible from one to
two rimutes. During this time, it followed straight course from 90
to 270 shape appeared to be round. No exhaust trall 38.9 seen.. of5e
