his brother, he did not remember the exact tine but stated it was
shortly after duek. At this time noticed the road Lrectly behind
hin "lit up" and thought that it was a taxieab behind hin with bright head
lights on. the sky approximately three-
quarters of a
helght. is approximately S'6" in height. He stabed he observed
this light for apuroinately two soconds and that it was traveling from
a southeant direction to the southwest over St. Georges Bay. The light
apoeared similar to a light bulb with a "tall stated the
tall appeared to hin to be approximatoly ten inches long and four inches
wide nnd was the color of the flame of a korosene lamp and it sounded like
an airoraft "far away'. Furthor questionh ot ravealed that for a

mately 2o April i953 and that he is positive that it was an aireraf't which
had its navigation or landing lights on. The airoraft appeared
as though making its aoproncn to Ernest Hamon AFB.
