TYPE OF OBSERVATION Later it was observed to travel toward the SW at a faster
ground visual speed and a lower altitude.

later two lights were seen in an oval flight pattern from south to

that the light varied from a dull red to bright. No estimate of
size was given except that light was larger than usual star. One ob-
server estimated the speed as 900 miles per hour. All other observers
just said very fast,

flight across the aky until disappeared and I decided to go to Base
Operations had seen. There was I one at operaticns
to handle the report so I initiated a small investigation oW to

Base Operations and asked they had any traffic in the air He said
that they had ounle conventional type local area.
I then called ight service in Austin and made sighting
and requested they had any jet aircraft the vicinity : San
Antonio and he said that there was
Waco but none in the San Antonio then called Kelly for a
verification of what he had told me before and he stated that they had
contactad one of their local aircraft and that he had seen nothing
unusual and that it erfect lying weather. I called the Base Officer
of the Day and was instructed ake a formal report morning.
I first saw the object at Coc2 27 February and when I got home at Olco,
I decided to call Randolph Ai: FJore Base and ney had any
information that mizht help with on explanation Randoloh operations
stated that they had not had any aircraft activity during this pericd.

night wax very clear but I could see nothing but As I
could hear no motor and could see nothing but the light would presume

to the south-westfof me. There is not mich I kow about it. To me it
was just a traveling light, that if it had been standing still, I
would have taken for another star.

On the 27 February 1953 I saw an unidentified object in the sky.
The object looked to me like enother star but was traveling at,a.terrific
rate of speed.It came the south-west. It traveled aoross the
the sky going Then it turned and came back across
