I observed three unidentified flying objects at 1:30 Pili, 19 October
1952, Central Standard Time, from the porch of my residence, '
=igeor. San Antonio, ‘'exas.
I had been sitting on the porch smoking for approxinately tyventy=
five mimites before this incident occured. As I sat there, I noticed
a four-enrined aircraft circle the Municipal Airport once then come in
rather hich for an approach lendins. The plane cut its engines and |
commenced backfiring, craving my attention closer to the aircraft. |
At this time I noticed three circular objects in the North sly
heading cue South. One object was at a noticably lower aliitude than :
the other tywo$3 at any rate it was more than iice as larce as the other
objects, I would estimate the lover object to be annroximately fifteen
thousend feet and the other tivo at anproxim ately twenty thousand feet
titude., The objects were flying a "V" formation. The lower object
g ave me the impression of flipping over slowly as it traveled through
the aire Tis flipping movement exposed first an alumimmelike surface
en one side then an Olive Drab one on the other. The other objects
¢id not flip and aorearec to be of aluminum construction,
I wovld estimate the speed of the objects to be anvrozimately
two lunéred fifty miles per hour. The objects kept approaching until
aimcs: directly overhesd: then the lover object stopped, I concetrated
mr attention on the lover object anc lost sight of the other tyvo, After
* J Vv
the Lover object stopned, it hovered a very short timc, then commenced
+0 ect cmaller and smaller very ravidly until it disappeared. I do not
