éircraft wes on a heading of O44 derrees at en altitude of 22,000 feet, weather
was 1/8 to 3/8 undercast with no moon, Tho sgightins was mado by the Airborne
Connandsr, Aircraft Commander, Pilot, Rombardior, °.F,C. end Risht Scanner, Thea

Object was described ea appearing to be 6 or 7 fect lonar, ciear shaped, orange-red

in color and red particles ap; roxims*ely 1 ft (a diameter appearins to ghoot off

at right ancles fron the path of flicht of the object, No treil was seen tt the

whole object seemed to glow with an orange-red color, The object was first seon

at the 3 o'clock level position approximately 300 feot away, It was treveling up

et an angle of 5 do =rees approxi ~wtely parallolin- tue seniiny of the Be2g and dis-
eppeared when it wes 150 feet ebove tho afrersfts alticuge, Tne sis hting lasted not
more than 3 seconds after it whs first seen. Spesd of object was estineted as over
