Estimate of 700-350 Mile per hour speed was made because there
wee very little lag to the sound and the object disappeared over
mounteins approximetely five miles to the west of observation
post.
I have been closely interested in aircraft for a long tims, es-
pecially military, as I have a son who is e Navy Flyer ... and
further qualifications as ean observer ere that I was a techni-
eion on Navy and Air Corps (WW 2) training and identification
films at the Walt Disney Studios during the last war. Also, I
did much flying---privete-~-many years ago.
I give you thie information so that I will not be rated as a
vepor-headed jerk, trying for publicity, and so thet this re-
port will have some meaning.
.
Additionallys This questionnaire was not received by me until
September 10th, and the envelope had been opened and the inclosed
self-cidressed envelope removed before I got it.
