3. On the Carney, Wing of
the 17o7th Air Base Wing, West Palm Beach Municipal Airport, Florida, was
contacted.. He showed the ATIC party copies statemants he had received
from the scoutmaster, three boyscouts, and other possible witnesses to the
incident. These statements are being forwarded i through channels per Air
Force Letter 200-5. The contents of the statements are the same as details
obtained in interview. Details of these interviews will be given in memo,
consequently the contents of the signed statements will not be discussed.

a. He stated that he had received an "Other Than Honorable" discharge
from the Marines in 1944. He had been hitch-hiking and was picked up by an V
unknown person. The person got tired of driving and asked to drive,
which he did. They were picked up by law enforcement officers and it turned C
out that the car was stolen. He was arrested and charged with Auto Theft, in
Civil Court, but charges wer ter dropped. He said that because of this
incident he was charged arines. (His Marine records have been 13364

tacted next. He was interviewed by Capt Carney and I Lt Olsson. He stated that

a City Service Gas Station in the city of West Polm Beach. This was approximately
two years He stated tha had done some rather odd things. One of
the instances was when they were having a meeting many dealers in the southern
Florida area and had gotten up nade some rather foolish statementa.

to talk to. They were rather exeited nervous about the whole thing and in ! nany
cases their answers did not make a lot of sense. It is not believed that this was
