1. The objects were elongated, indefinite in shape, of unidentifiable
color, possibly three in muwuber, were not in formation, m visible sero-
dynanle features, no trail or exhaust, no visible vropuls ton systen, S>aed
(after turn) in excess of 600 \.P.H., negative sound, two abrupt 99 de-
gree turna, ons to West, second to Fast, disappeared in tha ligtance and
appeared to eminate white light from upper surface (possibly reflected

4. Observers were located on the street side of the MacDill Bane
Hangar. Object was first sighted due North, speed, distance, and aliitude
irdetorminavle (see narrative #10). Direction was dua North directly
away from the observers.
S. The observers were mostly young inexperienced Airmmun. However
three Non~-comaissioned Officers and two Civilians appeared to se

A. We Je GRANT, CAPTAIN, USAF Personal Interrogation
On 13 August 1952, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, at 111 hours local
tine (19112) approximately 20 Airmen and two Civilians made the following
sightings
From ons to three flying objects were observed heading approximately
360 degrees and gaining altitude. One object changed course abruptly to
the Wast moving in excess of 600 M.P.H. This sane object then appeared to
hover for about five minutes then moved at an sxcessive rate back to the
East, then resumed its course to the North and disappeared. The tio other
objects did not alter courses but disappeared in a Northerly direction. The
period of suveillances was about twenty minutes.
