At 0310 hours I saw a light coming from overhead and going in a north-
west direation, I saw it for about 5 seconds disappear for 3 or 4 seconds
and reappear for another 5 seconds going in the sane straizht line and then
disappearing completely.
At approximately every five minute interval after that until 0330 ‘hours
I saw a similar light going through approximately the. sane motions. We also
looked to the southeast, south, and south west to no avail as the sky was
obscured by clouds ani the Organ Mountains.

LUMINOUS DISK OR BALL SEEN OVER MOULAY BOUSSELHAM -- Rabat, L'Echo du Maroc,
5 Aug 52
On 2 August 1952, at about 2045 hours, a group of five trustworthy
persons saw a luminous disk or ball in the sky over Moulay Bousselhan,
French Morocco. The object, red in the center and bluish around the
edges, flew very rapidly from southeast to northwest, remaining visible
for at least 20 seconds before it disappeared over the horizon.

My name 1s @gepgppegempe. I ama Security cuerd at
4SP%, Las Cruses, New Mexigo. On the alight of 29 duly 1952
at 0315 te 0400 hrs I was on @uty at O Station. I was on
top of the station checking the equipment. My first observa-
tion of am ebjsct im the sky was of an object of the approrie
nate size and intensity of a star. Its velocity was similar
toa neveor. It did not leave:a vapor trail. The Light came
aad went.- It traveled in an are of approximately thirty $e
fifty degrees. ‘mat groused ny interest: was that it set a
definite pattern. It started from north east directly over .
head to the south cast. I next saw it in the south west,
next in the north west and baek to the north east, It was
not a continuous light, it eame and went. At first I thought
it was a. abgoting star. but I. havejtiown, of shooting stars ‘to
‘follow a fixea pattern. This’ pattern continued -for about halt
an hour when. the ky: becane Light ened’ ‘at. ‘0400 hrs the object
‘disappeared. I have Seen roekets fired at night and I have
: observed: weather ballons at night also. ‘and jet planes and the.
“Velocity:was to ereat to be any of these. I would desoribe

At approxiaately 0100 hrs. on the 30th of July I was on duty
at the Landing area: ‘three niles from my original post at G Station.
I observed: r similar light. It appeared in a formation: of stars
‘in the squth west. “tT would estimate the altitude at approzi-
mately 15000 ft. and it arched about 20 degrees and disappeared
in 2 cloud formation, I could not estimate the lights of my

' | WHITS SANDS Prov nic GROUND
Las Cruces, ‘iew Mexico
1 August 1952
I certify that the following statement is true to the best of my
knowledge and belisf. While I was on duty as the Officer of the Day at
White Sands Proving Ground on 1 Aug 52, I wes awakened at approximately
0240 hours by the telephone ringing in the OD's room at Post Headquarters.
I answered the telephone and was informed that it was the guard calling
from building 1850 in the TECH AREA. He esked me to come and investigate
something that was very important. After that, he explained the location of
the building; I said that I would go. I dressed and put on my side-arms.
Prior to leaving Post Headquarters, I telephoned the telephone operator
at WSPG to tell him where I was going and that if I had not returned in half
en hour, he was to call the MP's and have them come to the TECH AREA and look
for mee Its being Pay Day Nicht, I was aware that anything could have happened
or that some one was. playing a prank.
I was very cautious in advzncing to the building and was challenged by the
guard end I identified myself. I asked him what the trouble was end he said,
.. "Sir, ».e hawing been seeing some strange lizhts crossing over the Proving
Grounds." I said to myself, "lly God, Flying Saucers, and they woke me up for
' that" but I said, "Yea, here are they?" All I could see was the lizht beacon
from Condom Field. I thought that they had imagined the "strange lights."
I telephoned back to Post Headquarters and told him to notify the tele-
phone operator that I was OK ana not to wor ry « :
Several minutes went by and I did not see any "Lights". The second.
- guard there was the Roving Patrol in that Area.
One of the cuards claimed to have seen another licht but I did not see
> ite At 0300 hours I saw what I thought was a fast moving bluish light about
the size of a second class ster moving in a northerly direction. I was sbout
_ $0 cecrses.verticle angle and of about 5 seconds durations The guard said,
. “Did you see it Capt ain?™ I said yes its moving in a northerly direction,
pointing with my hands "WELL" he said, "it should now reappear in that .
direction" pointing to the West. I looked, and sure enough I soon saw it
reappear moving in a straight line from North to West at about 50 decrees
angle of elevation and lasting about 10 seconds.
| At OSO05 hoursme of the guards said, "There it is againe” I saw it
at the same time it was traveling northerly. He said it should turn and be
in thet srea now. A few seconds latter I saw it rpappeer traveling in «
strai ght line from North East to East, it was observable for sbout 5 seconds.
