"During the 11 minutes observed, the object which was southeast
of the station, stayed within the reciprocal azimuth angles of 118
degrees to 130 degrees and angles of elevation of 2o.5 degrees to 23.0
degrees. The object made three complete circles in that area It was
not moving very fast. As the object moved, the colored lights seemed
F to fade and a blue-white light was served. When seen through the
theodolite, this blue-white lightwas as bright as a star of the first
magnitude. obje rcling the ] gram balloon.
"The observer estimated the object as being at least 10 miles
from the point of observation at WBAS, Boston, and at a height of
25,0oo ft. when first noted, later climbing to a height of 35,oo0 ft.

at the same time F-943 aircraft, piloted by

After considerable detailed conversation with these two pilota as to
their tactics, etc, in attemoting to intercept the object(athey had sighted
it is the opinion of the undersigned that Mr was tracking their aircraft.
