Air Base, and Airman bay
that attempted unidentified aircraft for Tinutes without

7. Three poe exist: (1) that the unidentified aircraft was not guard-
log the assigned frequencies. (2 that the aircraft was on a classified mission and

In accordance with AWL 200-5, dated 29 April 1952, Sublect: Unidontified
Flying Objects Reporting (Short Titla: FLYOBRPT) following report
of unidentified flying object is ubmitted
On 24 approximately 21C0 MS
on, and
from Los Alamos, New Mexico observed a strange object in n the sky. This
object appeared to be a bluish-green ball portruding
red flame tail. It seemed to be east N.E. object
made no sound and had no viaibl neans speed of the
was about that of a 4 inch rocket. It traveled i etraight 10 degrees
inclined position. When it disappeared, it went out I like a light and
seemed to become brighter just before it faded or burned out. All of
the above observors stated that th y had nover witnessed a phonomena
such as this before.
