i. DESORPTION G7 InoToENT ENT
On 8 May, approximately 60 miles off the east coast of the Unite? States,
between Jacksonville, Florids. and Savannah, Georgia, the pilot and c:=pilot
of Pan Anerican Airline Flic=t 20%, enroute to San Juan from lw York, signted
three unidentified aerial ob*ects. The objects were on a reciprocal seading
of eoproximately 355° to 360” at the same altitude as the airliner.
The first object resembled a landing light but was much whiter ant about
ten times as large. It was zsllowed by two slightly snaller crange c? jects
with tapering tails which were fringed with tiue. These three round objects
were equally spaced and between 1/8 and 1/4 nile off the left wing.
TI, STATUS OF THE INVESTIGATION
The sources were interro;zated and stated that the objects were completely
es foreign to them. There was =o known missile, naval or air activity ic the area
