2. Source's Opinion of His Information: Due to the nature
of the object which was observed, that is, the glow, the source
took the trouble to move his glasses back and forth in order to
assure himself that he was not seeing a reflection through his
glasses. The source does not believe e that he saw a reflection

by looking into the sky.

Report of Infornation on Unconventional Aircraft
The following regarding the sightin n unconven-
tional aircraft is forwarded as a matter interest pertaining to your
Center:
A. Source
Graduate physicist, no aircraft experience, age 29
member permanent stafr Battelle Institute.
Date of Tuesday evenin g. October 2, 195l.
around 6 p.l.; weather lea behind building end could
estimated altitude of looo feet.
The unidentified obiect was heading directly west at
an altitude higher than DC-3. The exact altitude 1-
cannot be estimated. The attached drawing shows the source's
opinion of what he saw as far as configuration f the uncon-
ventional aircraft. No sounds were heard associated with this
unidentifiable object. The pattern flight seemed straight
with no change in altitude or maneuver. The duration of 1003331
sighting wes approximately one minute.
