On interviewiny Mr, GOEDEL, the following information was pained:
At 1500 hours on the and Felruary, 1951, whilst working his plant e* “oodlands
Station, 20 miles south-west of tha torm of CONDANMINE, he had occasion to stop his
toring plant to make repairs to a belt. After doing this, he henrd a hish-pitched
svwishing noise as though a willy-nilly was approaching through the timber close by.
On looking up he caught sicht of oight (8) objects shaned thus:

pointed and said to his wife who was standing nearby, "Look". The objects were in
sight only for a very short pericd of time as they were travelling at a very high

At 1600 hours on the 2nd Fobruary, 1951 Lrs. ss with her
husband who was working a toring vlans on “oodlands Station, 20 mile

Her husband stovped the rachinery to repair a belt which had broken,
vhon she heard a peculiar noise. She saw her hustand pointing to tha
Bxy saying in an exoited yay, "Look". On Jooxing up, ltrs.

very hich speed.
At the time of sishting tre objects, they were going avay fromthe
position where she stood and could not give a descrip tion as to tnetr
shape, but noticed that they glittered as though made of hirhly
polished material,

Just a brief glimpse, they seemed to disaprear lixe a fPiash.

Yes, After they passed over I agreed with my hustand on his version of
their formation.
Were the oltjects similar in shape to any aircraft that you may have
seen?
Yo. The trief glimose that I had of them, they anpeared to be very
different to the shape of ordinary aircraft be
