notified at 1226 hours. The threo men revorted that the weather at tho tine
of sighting was--light overcast, light snow.

3. ACTION:

a. Contact with the Forecaster on Duty, Woather Station, Hill
Air Force Buse, Utah, on 15 December 1950, revealed that the 1230 observation
from Gooding, Idaho (13 miles cast of Bliss, Idzho) on 14 December 1950 read
as fcllows: cpecial, Indefinite Ceiling, 1000 ft overcast, visibility 1 mile,
Foge In view of this weather report, statements of witnesses contuin obvious
weaknesses.

b. Teletype 16 OSI~-12-6 dispatched 1100 hours, 15 December 1950,
to Director of Special investizations, with inforsation copy direct to
Commanding General, Air ateriel Coumand, ‘right-;atterson AFB, Luyton, Vhio,
attn: NCIS, containing briefed Spot Intelligence Report of informetion con=-
tained herein.

dated 23 October 1950, no further action will be taken by District Office
No. 16 reference this rerorted sighting. The above informtion is forvarded,
