evening. He went to 21,000 feet and did not get near object. Object
resembled edge a bright tilted plate or bar and had the appearance of

following information is submitted:
a. Object and slender having the amp nce
a parachute with no shrouds. At times it appeared have a tail. It
flew in a wing-low attitude and gradually righted itself, finally dis-
appearing due to darkness; color, white or
b. Object sighted November and renained
visible until darkness. Length of time observed was appr imately one
hour. .

Object appeared to b be about 20 degrees to the right of the nose and
10 degrees above the horizon, and was finally lost at Vicksburg,
Mississippi, due to darkness.
