» Oak Ride, Tennessee. The object appearod to be near a mountain
ridge about six (6) miles distant. The object was on a co:pass bearing of WS
decrees. ‘the altitude of the object remained within a short distance above or
velow the ridse of the mountain. (Noto: aoe that for the object
to be as large as he described and to be six (6) miles distant its size would
be comparable to a three (3) story Mailding a half a block long).
6. Information on Subject - Mr, QU, has been employed
ae an illustrator at the NEPA Division, Yairchild “ngino & Airplane Corporation,
Valk Nido, Tennessee, since 25 Uctober 1949. He has a "Q", "A" and “Secret"
clearance. eet ie warried and is twenty-six (26) years of ase. He has
been an officiont, reliable omvloyee and is highly rezarded and rocommended by
the security officials at uPA.

at Oak Ridze the terperature wns 61 desrees and there was a nine (9) to tvolve
(12) mile an hour vost wind. Visibility was unlimited.
