sightings were all in the US and during March 1950.

of Adamant, Vermont, reported that he slghted an
unidentified flying object at 1143E on 26 March 1950 over Adamant,Vermont,a
post office in the township of Calais, approximately 7 miles north of Montpelier,
Vermont. Mr. dotated that the object was crescent shaped and he estimated
its sige to be that of a DC-3 type aircraft. He said that the object was white
outlined in black and had. beed of about 300 miles per hour. At an altitude of
beaded theagt. comments were. offered in regard to the
photographs sketches of-the object

with aircraft, but he dia not disclose the field of experience or the capacity in
which he gained his experie
Comments of Olmsted Flight Service Centert Rancochler Field informed
the Olmsted Flight Service Center that no modified airoraft was on flight from
that field, nor were there any other unidentified aireraft in the vicinity at that
time.
