Jacksonville, Florida to Robins Air Force Base. His crew consisted of
Ist Lt. R. D. Putnam, 2104th Weather Group, Soeeenes and S/S2t. Ruby J.
ao. Dodd, 2104th Weather Group, Engineer. 2
Se At about 00350 approximately 85 miles N.W. of Jackson 8,
Florida Lt. Hahn saw a blue white flame about 50 to 75 feet lonz ‘coming
at him from ll. o'clock, at very high speed, thinking this flame to come.
from the exhaust of a jet aircraft, without running lishts showing, Lt.
Hahn pulled his C=47 sharply up to 1 o'clock. Lookins back to see whsther
the flame had passed under he noticed that it had completely disapeared.

4. T/Sgt. Young, a passenger aboard the aircraft, was et the tine
of the incident lookins from a window of the cargo bay, saw the blue
white flame approach the C=47 but saw no obdject from which they could
have been ejected. As the C-47 pulled up, Sgt. Young ran to the other
side of the ship and also noted that the flame had disappeared.
