Report contains inforpation on alleged sichtings of unidentified
flying objects forwarded by various MATS Flight Service Center units. The
sightings were all in the US and occurred during March 1950.

Montpelier, Vermont. The observer was Mr a restaurant operator of
Barre, Ver
Mr stated t that he saw an aircraft at high altitude. Three or
four vapor trails were noted in the plane's wake. Mr. thought that the aircraft
was a B-36.type. The observer declared that two eilver objects "about the size of
bowling balls" peared to be flying in formation nwith the aircraft. Cozzi said that
speed was given photographs tches were f the objects; no exhaust
trails nor noted.
The original setting by Mr transmitted from the Montpelier
Radio Range Station to Boston Control (GC) who relayed it'to Flight
Service Center, Middletown, Pennsylvania

and Lake George and was at an albitude of 25,000 feet. It is possible that this
was what Mr. Cozsi SAW Reflcction from the aircraft may given the impression
